(Animoto.com to create a video interpretation of a poem or a book trailer, an assignment using youtube.com to discuss songs with figurative language etc... There is also a cool new website I am looking at called Zoho.com that I might want to show, and I wouldn't mind putting together a Prezi for my presentation in the morning to demonstrate that.) These are just my thoughts (off the top of my head). What are you all thinking? Do you think that will be covering too much? Not enough?? What if we just did an overview of several things in the morning and then let them choose from that what they might be most interested in. Then we can explore those programs\/websites\/ideas further in the afternoon break out sessions. You guys may have a better idea. I was going to show how I use the Wiki in my class and maybe a few projects we have done. \nEach COMPILE person will have approximately 15 minutes to introduce and discuss a few of the ways technology can be used in the classroom.

\nBreak Out Sessions - 1:00 \u2013 2:30

\nPossibilities
\n
\n1. One possibility would be to each have a small group that we show in depth what we do. We can go into more detail and show more ideas\/projects and let them try things out on the computer to get a more hands on experience.
\n
\n2. Another idea would be to have three groups (each of us could pair up? Can\u2019t remember exactly how many of us there are\u2026) Each group could meet with a smaller group for 30 minutes at a time, and then they would rotate to the next group.

\nIdea Sharing - 2:30 \u2013 3:00
\n
\nThis last 30 minutes could be used as a time for them to ask any questions that are unanswered. It can also be a time for them to share any ideas that they use in their classrooms. We can compile this list and share on our wiki or blog that is created.
